With an extensive knowledge in brand management & development, Jamie brings passion, creativity and diplomacy to everything she touches. A native of Pageland, SC and graduate of Johnson C. Smith University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing, Jamie has the keen ability to see unconventional potential in others, utilizing her knowledge and resources to take them to the next level.
The creator and owner of The 518 Group, a branding, event marketing and media liaison company, Jamie’s client list over the years reads like a who’s who of beauty, wellness, music, sports, entertainment, and culture. Her laser-sharp instincts have helped her clients navigate the choppy waters of branding while protecting them, growing their visibility, amplifying their voices, projects and business ventures worldwide.
Embodying the essence of her core message of servitude as a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, Jamie is driven by her mission to promote personal and professional growth and sustain the spirit of leadership and community. Through her nonprofit organization, PROJECT FIRST, INC., Jamie annually awards a graduating senior a $500 scholarship towards tuition or books. She’s also the founder of Dear Sister CLT, an annual millennial brunch that connects women in the community through service and action to promote sustainability, financial responsibility, business development and productivity. Most recently, Jamie was recognized with a proclamation for Jamie Miller Day on May 18, 2019 in her hometown because of her encouragement of education and empowerment to youth in her community. She also serves as Minority Director for Pageland Chamber of Commerce, with a focus in Women and Small Business.
